What would you take?

As we plan our first 4 month trip in our RV, the questions comes up "just what should we take?" So here is a question for those of you reading this. Q: If you had to plan a 4 month trip what would be the item (or items) that you would want to make sure you took along with you?

I vowed not to marry technology, but my laptop would have to come with me. A stack of books, selected from the shelves of worthy but as-yet-unread volumes. Scriptures. Notebooks. Camera. Shoes suitable for easy and difficult terrain. Bathing suit. Field glasses and bird books.

A variety of clothing for all weather that can be layerd to handle any weather you encounter without trying to take your entire closet. Any RX meds to cover you while gone (be sure to keep a list of these meds in your wallet for emergency care if necessary)and an emergency first aid kit that includes items to enable you to support necessary care while waiting for professional help.

I'm an avid letter writer so I would be sure to take lots of note cards & paper & a journal to log my travels & keep in touch (not a computer person). I would want a camera to take pictures for future memories. I drink Ensure so I would want to stock up for when I'm not near stores that might carry it.

Jerry/Mary...I remember Tom's! I always wanted to stop there and then the new road went through Barstow and I never saw Tom's again. What a treasure trove!...Yes, there is the 'weather' factor. Hope you planned around tornadoes...you could be in Kansas when you didn't even plan on it LOL. Keep up the blogging..it's fun!
